J. Ryan Graves

J. Ryan Graves (production manager - co design of space) is a production manager and freelance designer. He has worked at Danspace Project (New York) on dozens of modern dance productions with David Neumann, Eiko & Koma, Savion Glover, Meredith Monk, Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Kitt Johnson and Elizabeth Streb. More recent productions include Production Management for the multimedia motion-capture development, debut of the Bebe Miller Company's “landing | space” last fall, Ibrahim Quraishi´s interacitve cross media-performance-installation 5 Streams at MASS MoCA (Mass), Asia Society (New York) and Sringdance (Utrecht) and Quraishi´s visual war oratorio: Still Life With Commentator from its inception at The Carolina Performing Arts Center (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), Kontrakom International Festival, Salzburg and finally the New York premiere in BAM Next Wave Festival december 2006. Ryan´s credits with Mabou Mine's theatre company include: video design for Cara Lucia (New York), touring video for Animal Magnetism (Poznan) and technical development / production for the current international tour of Dollhouse. Other current work includes projects with: Pick Up Performance Company, the New York Grand Opera, and TRANS, along with independent video design and installations on a project with Terry O´Reilly (San Paulo) and currently video development for the Wooster Group (NY).
