Parul SHAH - dancer/choreographer - considered one of the leading Khatak artists of the “younger,” generation by the New York Times has performed at eminent festivals/ centers such as The Hanuman Jayanthi celebration, India - Kennedy Center, Washington D.C - Lincoln Center’s Damrosh Park - Symphony Space, NY - Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY - Dance Theater of Harlem, NY. Along with her traditional performances, Parul has also presented experimental and contemporary works in New York at The City Center, The Kitchen, Joyce Soho, Summer Stage, Central Park and has collaborated with other artists such as Andrea Del Conte, Jin Hi Kim, Yin Mei, Sameer Chatterjee. With Ibrahim Quraishi she presented the first proto-type of Vision 1 of 5 Streams in Tokyo, Japan in 2004 under the title of “NATURE/paradise” at the Japan Foundation Forum.
