Javier Murugarren (live performer) Born in Lizarra, Vask Country in 1976. Dancer and choreographer, educated in dance and movement in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Barcelona. In 2004 he moved to Amsterdam to complete his studies in the School for New Dance Development Amsterdam (direction Gabriel Smeets). Co-founder of instant collective group of survival artists in Amsterdam, with whom he created the idea of NOITE BIZARRE. As a performer he had worked with THE SHIP OF FOOLS, OLEG ZUKOWSKY and DUDA PAIVA. His choreographic works are based in experimentations with new uses of movement, lighting and sound.
