Marc Perroud a.k.a. t-zèd: professionally trained video engineer who for the past ten years has worked in all phases of video production: film, editor and camera man. After numerous years in the technical field, Marc Perroud moved more towards the artistic and cultural aspects of the media; leading to shooting short and medium films on many varied subjects; contemporiary dance, electro-acoustic music, video art, performances, experiments in multi-media, live techno mixes on line and in real time with his own images and those of the other artists. His wide travels throughout Mongolia, China and Russia have allowed him to create pieces dealing with the conflicts of tradition, identity and nature.
As a vj (video jockey) Marc Perroud goes under the pseudo name of "t-zèd" which has allowed his work to be presented in many multi-media festivals such as F.I.M.U 2000, GOLIATH 2001, SUPER-FLUX 2001, DRIVES-IN 2001. Has has also worked on Option Menu, Heiner Gobbels Eraritjaritjaka originally premiered at Théâtre Vidy Lausanne 2004 and currently touring in Zurich, Paris, Moscow, Belgrade and Berlin. Four the past five years Marc has been working with Ibrahim Quraishi’s Compagnie Faim de Siècle on numerous site specific projects through-out Europe, Canada and Japan.
