Fawzia Afzal-Khan
Dr. Fawzia AFZAL-KHAN - An artist and professor, trained in the North Indian vocal tradition. Fawzia is a founding member of Compagnie Faim de Siecle. Since 1997 she has worked with Ibrahim in New York, Sarajevo, Paris, Chatillion, Munich, Tokyo and Lahore. She has been W.E.B. Dubois Fellow at Harvard University and winner of many other fellowships including a Fulbright. An author in her own right, her two most recent publications are A Critical Stage - The Role of Secular Theatre in Pakistan & Shattering The Stereotypes - Muslim Women Speak Out.
